European Small and Medium Sized Carnivore Conference
The conference will gather researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share knowledge, explore current challenges and future directions in carnivore management and conservation. The conference is supported by funding from the 15 June Foundation.
Why attend this Conference?
We explore the future of European carnivore conservation. This conference offers an unique opportunity to engage and share new knowledge.
Participants will engage with emerging scientific insights and contribute to a broader interdisciplinary dialogue enabling critical reflection on our relationship with nature and carnivores.
Conference Topics:
- Predation impacts on rare bird species
- Moving species - Native and invasive
- Non-lethal management and conflict mitigation
- Emerging monitoring technologies
- Carnivore ecology- behaviour and habitat choice
The conference invites reflection on how we perceive carnivores, how our views shape management decisions, and how we can foster a more respectful and ecologically sound relationship with wildlife. It’s a space to rethink our role in nature and to promote conservation strategies that uphold the integrity of ecosystems.
Be inspired by new perspectives, contribute your expertise, and help advance innovative, non-lethal approaches that support both biodiversity and human interests.
